24p IS IT OVER RATED? Will You Die If You DOn't Use It?

24p - is it over rated, do you really need it or is it for people who want it "on purpose". This topic is up front because of Canon's choice to remove the 24p selection out of some of it's newer cameras. For the people who WANT 24p, this definitely takes the option of selecting these cameras for themselves.
But how about the majority of new buyers. people coming from cell phones and point and shoot cameras to a better camera. They never shot 24p before and probably never will. These folks are not the vocal ones and a lot of them are feeling HEY, WHAT AM I MISSING :)

2700K CRI 93 LED light bulbs.
Used the 2017 i7 4.2Ghz iMac with Final Cut Pro X to edit and output to H.265 4K for YouTube.
