8K - The Evolution of Resolution

The Future is HERE. Technology races forward at the speed of... a V12 Bentley... :D

I am in Vegas doing some filming and a talk with the upcoming Sharp prosumer 8K camera, and a Bentley..... So I took the opportunity to continue the conversation about resolution and where the market is heading. (Note this is not a sponsored video).

I filmed this video with a mix of 4k and 8k cameras - which reinforces my point that 8k filming has applications now. The best shots from this, with movement and great image quality, were filmed on the new Sharp 8K camera at 30p high bitrate. The size of the camera meant I could mount it to the (scarily expensive) Bentley inside and outside windscreen, and also the hood. I also used a drone.

I did however get the Bentley on loan from http://exoticdrivingexperiences.com in return for giving them some video and stills from the weekend. I am giving them this extra plug because it was so much fun driving that house on wheels :)
