In 2016 we got to walk on hallowed ground. CERN is somewhere I've always wanted to go, and we just happened to arrive when the Large Hadron Collider was shut down for maintenance. And that meant we could walk the circuit, see the collider, and poke our heads inside the CMS Experiment.
It was emotional. There were tears.
