Would you have guessed that Arnold Schwarzenegger is partly responsible for getting free speech protection for video games? It's true. When he was governor of California he pushed for a bill to limit the sale of violent video games, and it went all the way to the Supreme Court. But the story is much, much bigger than that, and starts with the budding feud between Nintendo and Sega in the early 1990s.
