Shree Bose was the grand prize winner of the first ever Google Science Fair (www.googlesciencefair.com) in 2011, which drew more than 10,000 entrants from 91 countries. At just 17 years old, she took home the top prize for her research on drug resistance in ovarian cancer. Now a senior at Harvard, Shree will talk about her lifelong love of science, from turning spinach blue in 2nd grade to her award-winning cancer research, and her advocacy for STEM education. Her talk will answer the question: #HowCanWe Make the World Better With Science? Introduction by Mariette Di Christina, Editor in Chief and SVP of *Scientific American* and the Chief Judge of the Google Science Fair.
Shree debuted Google Slides Q&A (goo.gl/q9yMSw) during her talk to connect with her audience and collect real-time feedback. Audience members also submitted questions—and voted on the ones they answered most. Slides Q&A is available for free on Android (g.co/slides/aqanda), iOS (g.co/slides/iqanda) or the web (g.co/slides/qanda).
