Check out the latest Splatoon video for updates on the series, including the Splatoon Raiders announcement for an upcoming Splatoon spinoff game. In the role of a mechanic, players will go on an adventure in the mysterious Spirhalite Islands alongside the splat-tacular Deep Cut trio. Splatoon Raiders will be available on Nintendo Switch 2.

The new Splatoon research report from Squid Research Lab video also unveils that a free update for Splatoon 3 will be available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on June 12, 2025. The Splatoon 3 update features the Splatlands collection, with new weapons from the Barazushi and Emberz brands. Additionally, all weapon Freshness caps will be raised, a new stat will be added for Anarchy Battle (Series) called Series Weapon Power, and Urchin Underpass, which is a returning stage from the original Splatoon game on Wii U, will be added to the stage rotation. The new update allows Splatoon 3 players on Nintendo Switch 2 to experience more detailed visuals and a smoother appearance in locations like Splatsville and the Grand Festival Grounds. Splatoon 3 players will be available to play together across both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
