As expected, the styling has been sharpened up while maintaining the boxy shape you would expect from an MPV. The compact people carrier has grown as it is 130mm longer than its predecessor and 113mm of the added length is in the wheelbase to grant a more spacious interior cabin available in both five- and seven-seat configurations. Volkswagen says the new Touran has the biggest cargo capacity (up by 48 liters to 1,040 liters) in the segment thanks to a new folding seat arrangement which enables a flat floor and a 1,980-liter capacity necessary when carrying voluminous cargo.
