The new TT goes on sale in Europe later this year.
Audi’s update to the 2019 TT coupe and roadster is mild. Differences between the new TT and its predecessor are difficult to identify without a keen eye and a magnifying glass. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t other changes underneath. There are new engines and more standard features for 2019 along with refined exterior styling.

The 2019 Audi TT will come with one turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with two different tunes in three trims – 40 TFSI, 45 TFSI, and 45 TFSI Quattro. The base 40 TFSI engine produces 197 horsepower (145 kilowatts) and 236 pound-feet (320 Newton-meters) of torque. The 45 TFSI and TFSI Quattro powertrains deliver 245 hp (180 kW) and 272 lb-ft (370 Nm) of torque). The Audi TTS 2.0-liter engine produces 306 hp (225 kW) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque.
The front-wheel-drive 40 TFSI and 45 TFSI come with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed S Tronic transmission. The S Tronic is the only transmission available for the 45 TFSI Quattro trim. The TTS comes with Quattro all-wheel drive and the seven-speed S Tronic transmission as standard.

For 2019, Audi has expanded the amount of standard equipment you get in an entry-level TT. Standard features now include Audi drive select dynamic handling, heated mirrors, light and rain sensors, a multifunction steering wheel, and the Audi virtual cockpit. Also standard are illuminated USB ports and Bluetooth connectivity. Seventeen-inch wheels are standard on the TT and 18s on the TTS. Optional sizes include 19- and 20-inch wheels.

Exterior features include the 3D singleframe radiator grille, large side air inlets, and a sharp design line down the side of the body. At the rear, the fascia gets a small update just above the sporty exhaust outlets.
