2019 Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge Is Most Popular Yet
Back in June, we covered all the exciting activities happening at the 5th annual Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge. Now that the event has occurred, FCA has released information that shows that the event was successful yet again.
Over 47,000 people either participated in or watched the street-legal racing that occurred on Woodward Avenue. This makes the 5th Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge the most attended so far.

Between drift rides, thrill rides, and Challenger SRT Demon simulator rides, over 6,800 rides were given during the event. When not take an exciting drive, attendees could also look at over 300 classic and custom cars. Plus, flamethrowers, wheelstander exhibitions, and freestyle motocross dyno were there to keep guests entertained.

The main attraction of Roadkill Nights was the legal street drag racing along a 1/8 mile drag strip for a total of $30,000. More than 120 participants competed in the Big Tire and Small Tire classes. Lil Jimmer Kline was the Big Tire Winner, and Alen Danial was the Small Tire Winner.

The Quickest Dodge Winner for the Big Tire class was James Pranis with a 1968 Dodge Charger. For the Small Tire Class, Peter Bokedon won the title with a 1972 Dodge Dart. Each winner received $5,000.

There was also a fun celebrity showdown challenge, which was won by David Freiburger and Leah Pritchett. Between the celebrity showdown challenge, raffle tickets, and the charity auction, United Way was able to receive a donation of $21,210 for Southeastern Michigan.
