2019 Kia Niro EV Rolls Out at Paris Auto Show | Edmunds

A: Kia says the Niro EV with the 64-kWh lithium-ion polymer battery pack will put out an estimated 201 horsepower and 291 pound-feet of torque.

A: Kia says the Niro EV's range will be around 240 miles, which will make it highly competitive against the Chevrolet Bolt (238 miles) and handily edge out the Nissan Leaf (138 miles).

Q: What's Kia's Coasting Guide Control system?
A: Using map data combined with your navigation route, Coasting Guide Control will let the driver know the optimal time to lift off the accelerator and coast, allowing for energy recovery through regenerative braking.
