Mark Takahashi hits the road for the first time in the 2021 Volkswagen ID.4, a new all-electric SUV. The ID.4 is Volkswagen's first big step into the EV market since the launch of the e-Golf back in 2015. The e-Golf was based off the existing Golf hatchback, but the VW ID.4 has been designed and built from the ground up as a new electric SUV.

Positioned as a small SUV, the ID.4 is slightly smaller than the Tiguan, but it provides about as much interior space.
