The 2022 Honda Civic Si is still a performance car for the people. We spend time in the car through the canyon roads of Southern California to see what's new and figure out how it drives.

Motor1 director of video Clint Simone and contributor Gabriel Vega each take a turn behind the wheel of the Civic Si, which has some new components despite using a carryover engine. It's still powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder making 200 horsepower and 192 pound-feet. There is now rev matching from the Civic Type R, along with a standard limited-slip differential and revised suspension. While competitors from Hyundai and Kia might offer a better bargain, the Civic Si is a killer option for anyone in the market for a performance car for less than $30,000.
