We traveled to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to get our first drive review experience with the 2023 Nissan Z. From the humble Datsun 240Z to the previous-generation 370Z, Nissan has built Z-cars for over four decades now. Yet throughout those 43 years, each new generation has attempted to stay close to the principle of the original Fairlady Z: an affordable, approachable, and most importantly fun sports car.
Which brings us to this, the simply-named 2023 Nissan Z. Featuring a 400-hp twin-turbocharged engine, 6-speed manual transmission, re-designed cockpit, and dramatic retro-futuristic styling, the new Z tries to make an impression. Join as we get behind the wheel and see if the 2023 Z lives up to the name.
