The 2024 Mercedes-AMG C63 S E Performance takes downsizing pretty far by lopping off half the cylinders – that’s right, this one’s got a 2.0-liter inline-four. And in exchange for the displacement loss, AMG engineers gave the meanest C-Class an electric-spooling turbocharger, as well as a rear-mounted electric motor and battery setup to add more power. The end result? 671 horsepower and 752 pound-feet, with all the suspension and brake upgrades to support it, plus a subtle yet aggressive appearance inside and out.
