Part of Alan Wake 2's intro takes place in the same small town that the first game did, so we thought we'd make a comparison! Keep in mind to be as spoiler free as possible, all footage of Alan Wake 2 has been taken in the first one or two hours.

Alan Wake II takes place many years after the story of the first game, and features two playable characters: Alan Wake himself, and an FBI profiler named Saga Anderson. Saga must reconstruct clues in her head to understand the secret of what's happening as Alan continues to try and write his way out of the Dark Place since the end of the first game. The story now ties in with Control, Remedy's previous game, as well.
