The new iPad isn't much to look at. In fact it's identical to last year's model, but it's insides have been greatly improved. Apple has upgraded the processor, meaning this new machine isn't much slower than the iPad Pro, and they've given in a software boost with iPadOS 14. This new generation OS brings widgets, improved pencil and handwriting support, and a streamlined search feature. If you need a tablet for work or school, the iPad is still the best option around.
