Apple iPhone 12 Mini review: Small and fast, but doesn't last

The Apple iPhone 12 Mini is the first flagship-quality small phone we've seen in a while. For about $100 less than a standard iPhone 12, you get a device that packs the same camera and A14 processor, but into a device with a compact 5.4 inch screen. Still, despite the size, the edge-to-edge screen feels much roomier than the display on the similarly sized iPhone SE we reviewed earlier this year.


Apple has done a great job maintaining all the power the functionality of the full iPhone 12, including 5G support, but the 12 Mini does suffer from one drawback common to smaller phones: it's battery life is kind of lousy.
