Apple gave fans an early glimpse at its Watch on Tuesday, a square-ish device that’s equal parts smart watch and activity tracker. We’re not sure how it’ll measure up to Android Wear devices, or even the most popular fitness devices. But Apple made clear its ambitions for the wearable market, catering both to fashionistas and active enthusiasts in one fell swoop. This isn’t designed to be just a device that feeds you notifications; it’s something that you spend your time using to collect information, send messages, and even use to pay for goods.
