Changing the appearance of your car no longer means you have to get it painted. Vinyl wraps are a low-commitment way to add personality to your vehicle or promote your business. Q: How much does it cost to wrap a car?
A: Prices start around $3,000 for a passenger car. SUVs can cost twice as much. Metallic finishes and special graphics will also hike up the price.

Q: How long does a wrap last?
A: Properly cared for, a wrap can last three years. But if you often park your vehicle outside where it can be exposed to the elements, a wrap may only last a year.

Q: Is it something I can do myself?
A: It's best to leave it to the pros because there is some disassembly required of some body parts.
