It’s time for a luxurious Audi vs Porsche drag race!

We’ve got Mat lining up in his long-term Audi S8, and he’s facing off against Daniel (our carwow.de YouTube presenter!) in a Porsche Panamera Turbo S.

So how do these two cars compare? Starting with the Audi, it’s packing a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet that can deliver 571hp and 800Nm of torque. It’s pretty heavy, tipping the scales at 2,220kg, and a new one will set you back around £103,000.

As for the Porsche, it’s also powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8, although its power output is up on the S8, delivering 630hp and 820Nm! What’s more, it’s also lighter, tipping the scales at 2,080kg.

So the Porsche has more hp, more torque, and it’s also lighter… Is the result a foregone conclusion? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!
