The @bangolufsen Beosound Shape installed in my Tech Loft project instantly became the centerpiece of the space. It’s a speaker that feels architectural—clean lines, geometric symmetry, and a layout designed specifically for this wall.

I partnered with the B&O Vancouver showroom, laying out the tiles physically, testing textures, and working with their team to finalize the arrangement and installation. This is a fully modular, wall-mounted speaker system designed by the user, and the online configurator lets you experiment with endless tile patterns and colour palettes to create what essentially becomes a piece of digital wall art.

Beyond the aesthetics, the system itself is incredibly advanced. Each configuration can combine speaker tiles, a powerful built-in Class-D amplifier, and acoustic dampening panels that help tune the room. Depending on the design, the system can scale up to 44 tiles powered by up to 11 amplifiers, allowing both small and large layouts to perform equally well. Everything connects wirelessly through AirPlay, Chromecast, Bluetooth, and the Bang & Olufsen app, adapting its sound profile to the space and creating a wide, immersive sound field—without ever looking like a traditional speaker system.
