In today's Daily Fix:
Bethesda thought it was "infallible," according to a former employee. The developer had a string of Game-of-the-Year-level hits with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Fallout 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Fallout 4. Then came Fallout 76, which launched with tons of bugs and tepid reviews that caused some of the fanbase to turn on them. Fallout 76 has had a bit of a redemption arc over the past few years, with meaningful content updates and patches. In other news, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 1 is out and the Switch version is coming under increased scrutiny. Not because of any egregious performance issues, but that the physical version doesn't even come with all the games—the actual Metal Gear Solid titles need to be downloaded separately. Yes, that means the 8-bit games are the only ones actually on that Switch cart. In comparison, CD Projekt somehow fit ALL of the Witcher 3 AND its DLC on its Switch cart.
