Today, during Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Wii U-centric Nintendo Direct, a stage building option was revealed.

Stages can be fully customized using certain background templates and aesthetic themes. You can use the Wii U Gamepad to then draw in details, platforms, and more, before choosing from the game's already existing slate of music. Then, it's time to battle. If you really like your creation, you can even share it with your friends.
