Today, during Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Wii U-centric Nintendo Direct, a stage building option was revealed.

Stages can be fully customized using certain background templates and aesthetic themes. You can use the Wii U Gamepad to then draw in details, platforms, and more, before choosing from the game's already existing slate of music. Then, it's time to battle.
