Cadillac Escalade Review & Supercruise Demo: The Best At Big Luxury

The Cadillac Escalade is an absolute force of a luxury SUV and one of the best cars in the entire GM stable.

This new Escalade is a dominating presence and relies on bold styling to make a statement. This test car's sport trim is the most eye-catching version with bold dark trim and massive ornate wheels to go with. The interior is filled with plush leather and gorgeous shiny wood trim. In short, this is the best-looking Escalade ever, and it's backed up by solid materials and a creative interpretation of how to be fancy.

It's a shame that the Escalade's tech suite isn't featured in more vehicles but it is absolutely stellar. We love the quick and easy-to-follow menus and beautiful crisp display. The driver display has several noteworthy features including an augmented reality camera view and night vision.

The optional Supercruise system is a must-have feature. It is more advanced than pretty much every other driver assistance system today, with true hands-off capability.

The Escalade scores an 8.8/10 on our Star Ratings scale and we consider it one of the best SUVs on sale today.
