Control 4 is actually one of the more senior home automation and control products available on the market. Where it sets itself apart from the competition is its ability to be largely brand agnostic (works with products from various ecosystems), and help you control devices that normally wouldn’t be able to talk to each other (like Sonos and Phillips Hue). Unlike most competing home automation products on the market today however, which are typically designed only for app-based control, Control 4 is big on physical buttons as well. For instance, you can install a “Goodbye” button that locks the doors, arms the security system, turns off all the lights, and adjusts the temperature when you’re leaving your house.
