CES 2019: Sphero Specdrums transform beautiful colors into music

Sphero got their name by making robots out of beloved Star Wars, Disney and Marvel characters. But at CES 2019, the revealed their latest toy: Specdrums. The ring is a elegantly simple device, just tap it against a color and the ring will sense the color it touches. Then a corresponding musical note will come from its connected smarthome app. Our own Scott Stein has been playing with it for a bit, and yes, it compelled him to tap the ring against everything. The $65 Specdrums launched January 6 and ship starting January 15.
