Citroen has hit the nail on the head with its new C5 Aircross.

This family-friendly five-seater SUV is extraordinarily comfortable, stylish and comes with some impressive levels of standard tech on board. It's also available with hybrid, plug-in hybrid and all-electric powertrains, with more variants, including a long-range EV model still to come.

Yet the most impressive part is the price, as the range kicks off at just under £30,000, and won't cost you more than £40,000 – even in the top-spec trim with PHEV or EV powertrains.
