A stellar visit to NASA's Jet Propulsion Labs, where we got to see the craziest space project I can remember. The Starshade is a giant foldable disc that will fly around space, blocking out starlight, so we can see the tiny planets orbiting it, and possibly detect signs of life in their atmospheres.
