The E3 videogames show in LA was a regular fixture in the tech calendar, and for four classic years, we gave cinema mega-fan Marc Cieslak free-reign over how to tell the story of the games console wars.
The results were huge-looking productions, always filmed with hardly any money, always with terrible acting (on Spen's part), and always ending with the brilliant final gag of Marc walking out of one shot in full costume, and into the next in a smart blazer.
