On today’s IGN The Fix: Games, Sydnee’s got even more details on the doomed Days Gone 2 pitch, recently rejected by Sony. Bend Studios had originally planned for the sequel to include a robust co-op mode, featuring a shared multiplayer universe where players could build up a clubhouse or crew to defend from the zombie horde. Fans may be focused on a potential Nintendo Switch Pro, but Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa has some grim warnings for the near future. With the world in the grips of a semiconductor shortage affecting everything from car manufacturing, to fans getting their hands on a PlayStation 5, it seems that Nintendo Switch stock may also be adversely affected. And finally, players are reportedly unable to download PS3 game patches ahead of the PlayStation 3 digital store’s closure.
