This week Leica sent me the Leica SL and the 24-90mm f/2.8-4 lens to check out. I want to share with you a few first impressions - this thing is a tank.
The Leica SL is a full frame, mirrorless camera with a 24 megapixel sensor. It shoots 4k/30p video. It also features a beautifully minimal interface, joystick and a .8x magnification viewfinder. And its heavy. Very heavy. Heavy pixels. However the image quality is simply outstanding. Its a Leica and they have a long history of making some of the most beautiful lenses ever produced so I'm super excited to share this with you over the next 2 weeks.
