Digital distribution of video games have been making Gamestop stronger. Last year, more than $724 million of GameStop's sales were from digital content. For the first quarter of the 2014 fiscal year, the retailer's digital revenue grew 9.5 percent year-over-year because of PSN and XBLA currency cards.
