Other DIY Home Security Cameras that I tested but wouldn't recommend.
Dropcam Pro Wi-Fi Wireless Video Monitoring Security Camera:
Premium Pricing for cloud recording, with no local recording available I cannot recommend.
Brinno PHVMAC12 Motion Activated Digital Peep Hole Viewer:
Terrible picture quality, one out of 10 times. Expensive for what it offers.
Canary All-in-One Home Security:
Installation was a pain and clunky, took almost 20 minutes for phone and Canary to communicate which is done by connecting a 3.5mm headset audio jack to your phone and Canary. Many other quarks, not a true home security system as they advertise.
NightWatcher Motion - tracking Motorized LED Flood Light with Color Camera:
Worked 50% of the time, delete button can be accessed from outside rendering unit useless.
Withings Home, Wi-Fi Security Camera:
Dropped connection several times, camera is OK at best, for it's price it doesn't offer more value compared to others.
