DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero - Full Roster Reveal And Game Modes Presentation

Save the date, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO will be released on October 11th, 2024, and it’s about to be EPIC! While the launch is approaching, the “Super Character Trailer” of September 19th, 2024, finally revealed the game’s full potential.

From the 12 DRAGON BALL Z movies released between 1989 and 1995, Jun Furutani revealed during his latest interview the final additions to the game’s roster. Let's review the latest arrival to the playable characters of DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO.

DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO roster is now complete! The game will have 182 characters: the most there has ever been in a Budokai Tenkaichi game.

Along with the new characters, the interview also focuses on Episode Battle and Custom Battle. In Episode Battle, players will be able to relieve some of the epic battles from the anime with 8 different characters available, Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Jiren, Future Trunks, Goku Black and Frieza. They will all have different lengths with Goku being the biggest with events starting from the Saiyan invasion on Earth, up until the Tournament of Power in Dragon Ball Super.

Custom Battle is another focus. This mode will let players not only discover some of the original scenario created by the development team, but also create their own dream scenario with pre-battle and post-battle cutscenes or specific effects and the characters they want, before sharing it with the world!

Jun Furutani also presented the preorder bonus character, who is the protagonist of Dragon Ball DAIMA: GOKU (Mini)! So don’t forget to preorder your copy of DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO to secure his spot in the Hive!

DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO the first entry in the DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI series in 15 years will be released on 11th October 2024, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
