In today's Daily Fix:
Dragon's Dogma 2 isn't even officially out yet, and players are already planning to kill as many NPC's as they can in the name of a better frame rate. The game is apparently very demanding, even on the beefiest of PC's, with frame rates dipping to 30fps when playing on RTX 4090 cards and modern CPU's. But by killing off non-essential NPC's, players could get a better frame rate as the CPU wouldn't have to devote resources to help render them. Capcom is already working on a solution, but until then, maybe keep multiple saves if you accidentally off a character you need for a side quest. In other news, the U.S. Department of Justice is suing Apple over monopolistic practices, and this could impact how you game on your iPhone. Apple is notorious for not letting third-party marketplaces and streaming services that don't adhere to their strict rules, which keeps something like Xbox Game Pass officially off iOS devices (but workarounds are common). The DOJ is taking Apple to court over some of these practices, which would be the first time that government body has taken action against Apple. And finally, check out some of the new weapons coming to The Finals. This episode is brought to you by The Finals.
