Easter Sunday stars stand-up comedian Jo Koy as a fictional version of himself named Jo Valencia who visits his Filipino family on said holiday. While initially tasked with brokering peace between his bickering mom and aunt, Jo is also dealing with a fledgling acting career, his apathetic teenage son, and risky business dealings - all between family meals, of course.

Produced with Steven Spielberg's support, directed by fellow comedian Jay Chandrasekhar, and rounded out by a stellar cast of Tia Carrere, Brandon Wardell, Eva Noblezada, Lydia Gaston, Tiffany Haddish, Jimmy O. Yang, Eugene Cordero, and more, Easter Sunday is a love letter to Filipino-American culture that expands on Jo Koy's stand-up and brings Filipino and Filipino-American talent to the big screen.
