FM synthesizers are known for being difficult to program, but they don't have to be. The Elektron Mode:Cycles makes sculpting your tone easy and fun. It's essentially a stripped down version of the company's popular Digitone synthesizer, but stuffed inside the budget-friendly form factor of the Mode:Samples. Of course, some sacrifices were made to get the price down to $299.
