At GTC 2021 in April, NVIDIA and BMW Group introduced the automotive manufacturer's Factory of the Future project, built on the NVIDIA Omniverse platform. Today, BMW Group is expanding their efforts in industrial digital twins, using Omniverse at three new factories totalling over 10 million square meters in area. With Omniverse, BMW will create synchronous digital twins of each of their factories, leading to increases in manufacturing efficiences and optimizations, as well as sustainable innovation.
