This animation was rendered fully on the GPU with Iray and modeled in 3dsMax in order to explore the depth of MDL materials in an artfully crafted scene of an 18th century Explorer's desk. For more information on Iray and MDL visit: www.nvidia-arc.com/Iray. Thank you to Alexia Rubod, our summer Intern, for creating such a visually stunning piece of work.
