Far Cry 6: Guerrilla's Guide to Combat

Want to liberate the Caribbean island of Yara from the evil dictator Anton Castillo? Then you’re going to need to craft some DIY weaponry and get clued up on resolver combat! From explosive backpacks to weaponised wheels, here’s the Guerrilla’s guide to combat.

A guerilla fighter like Dani Rojas will need to adapt to resolver warfare to take back the island for the people. Luckily, the Guerrilla’s Guide is here to give you a masterclass in mayhem! This guide will cover the basics of scavenging, including looting items like recycled fasteners and vehicle parts to improve weapons, supremos, and vehicles, before diving into the guerilla’s secret weapon: the workbench. The resolver workbench can be used to mod and upgrade weapons with attachments, as well as craft different ammo types, such as armour piercing rounds. Vehicles can also be modded to feature battering rams and mounted turrets. In addition, players can also craft some resolver weapons from scratch, such as the Tostador flamethrower, Zeusito EMP gun, El Susurro nail gun, La Clavadora harpoon crossbow, and the El Muro pistol and riot shield. There’s also upgradable backpacks called supremos like the Furioso, Medico, Exterminador and Volta to take into combat. Developed by Ubisoft, Far Cry 6 will launch on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Stadia on 7th October.
