On today's IGN The Fix: Games,
In Square Enix's 70th Final Fantasy 14 "Letter From the Producer" livestream that took place on Friday, the developers released a trailer of new content coming to Final Fantasy 14 with Patch 6.1 Newfound Adventure coming on April 12. Final Fantasy Newfound Adventure features a new trial, new alliance raid dungeon, new residential district, and more. The new update to FF14 comes with a new residential district, Empyreum. Updates to graphic fidelity, solo play support, and more are coming to Final Fantasy 14 in this massive update for PC, PS4, and PS5.
An Elden Ring fan has discovered that an item used for a boss fight can be used to reveal hidden walls and disable traps in dungeons. Players who have spent hours hitting multiple walls in Elden Ring, or dying horrible from trying to put out fire-breathing traps, will find this item absolutely handy as players traverse the world of Elden Ring.
Halo Infinite is set to get content inspired by the Halo TV Series. 343 Industries Community Director Brian Jarrard confirmed the content arriving down the road, hoping to bridge the gap between the Halo TV Series and Halo Infinite. Though both the Halo TV Series and Halo Infinite happen at different times, the plan is to have threads and nods between the two.
