McDonald’s often heralds their burgers as being especially delicious, but according to a study by Consumer Reports, this is not true. Instead, the iconic chain serves the least tasty ones compared to the many fast-food restaurants reviewed and ranked.
Here are 5 found to have far better burgers than McDonalds.
Number 5. Fuddruckers. Enough of the roughly 32,000 survey takers felt favorably about this restaurant’s efforts to land them in one of the top spots. The establishment earned a 7.8 out of 10. 
Number 4. Smashburger. With a relative handful of outlets spread across the US, Canada, Central America, and the Middle East, this company operates on the philosophy, “We believe people deserve real burgers.” 
Number 3. Five Guys Burgers and Fries. The business is known to have quickly drawn a devoted following, but their reach has clearly expanded far beyond the loyalties of a faithful few. Like many, reviewers remembered the delicious food served there quite fondly. 
Number 2. In-N-Out Burger.  A west coast staple for decades, this chain has become a national go-to for mouthwatering eats, and rightfully so, considering Consumer Reports’ testers gave them the second-highest marks in this survey. 
Number 1. The Habit Burger Grill. With only about 100 outposts, this California-based chain showed a decidedly large dominance over McDonald's. While an 8.1 score isn't perfect, it did place them ahead of all other burger joints surveyed.
