Frontpoint Home Security Review 2020

Frontpoint has gone through a lot of changes in 2019, and many of them are game-changers. Yes, I’m referring to their contracting, which has changed from long-term to monthly.

Before November of this year, Frontpoint only offered one or three year contracts to start off with. Now, however, all of their plans have become month-to-month, with no cancellation fees whatsoever. They also got rid of their cheapest Protection Plan, which is a bit of a shame. However, there is a price lock guarantee that was implemented, so I think I can live with it.

Other fun updates to come for Frontpoint? There will be a consumer financing option through Affirm. Frontpoint no longer checks credit, and as of November 18th, 2019, Frontpoint is open to renters. While I wish the lower level Protection Plan was still available, these changes are going to make Frontpoint a viable option for thousands of new customers.
