Fujifilm has been working hard to bring down the cost of medium format shooting, with the GFX 50S, 50R, and 100 winning fans by packing higher and higher resolution into smaller and more affordable camera bodies. Now, the GFX100S brings Fujifilm's stellar 102MP medium format sensor to a compact mirrorless body for just $6000, incredible when you consider a simiar camera just a few years ago might cost more than $20,000. Usually intended for portraits, landscapes, and advertising work, medium format cameras are notoriously slow, and while Fuji has done a lot to help the GFX100S feel snappy and modern, if 20FPS shooting and lightning-fast autofocus are your priority, then the GFX100S may not be for you.
