The first generation Hasselblad X1D 50c was a beautifully styled medium format camera with some arguably incomplete features and a few issues that drove some users crazy. The new X1D II 50c has a variety of hardware, electronic, and firmware upgrades that promises to enhance the compact and powerful 50-megapixel camera. Is it enough to justify this premium-priced medium format camera? Evelyn Drake asks Cosplay photographer Gary Cheung about his hands-on experience with a pre-production version of the new model.
