Hellboy Does Horror: What To Expect From The Crooked Man | Comic Con 2024

Hellboy: The Crooked Man takes us to 1950s Appalachia where Hellboy (Jack Kesy) and rookie BRPD agent Bobbie Jo Song (Adeline Rudolph) investigate the sinister Crooked Man. Kesy is the third iteration of Hellboy, who has been portrayed by Ron Perlman in the Guillermo del Toro duology, and David Harbour in Hellboy (2019). 

Hellboy creator Mike Mignola collaborated on the film’s script and joins us along with Kesy, Rudolph, and Jefferson White (Tom Ferrell) at Comic-Con 2024 to discuss the film and its move toward horror. Distributed by Ketchup entertainment, the description of the film reads as follows: 

From renowned director, writer & producer Brian Taylor (Crank, Happy!) comes Hellboy: The Crooked Man, a film about survival in the face of death. 

In the 1950s, Rookie BPRD agent Bobbie Jo Song is tasked with delivering a spider to the BPRD, but must seek Hellboy's help when things go awry. Together, they travel to Appalachia to take on the Crooked Man, who has been sent back to Earth to collect souls for the devil.
