Smartphones have rapidly replaced cameras for most enthusiasts and are starting to become a tool of choice for serious photographers as well. They're easy to use and they fit in your pocket. But what about image quality? That's what we will look at in this video to see exactly how smartphone cameras work. Over the last 3 months I've been shooting exclusively on smartphones using my iPhone XS Max, Google Pixel 3 and Samsung Galaxy S10+. How do these phones compare to one another? It this video we'll break it down, talk about how lenses work in phones and look at features such as shooting RAW DNG files, simulating bokeh and computational models such as Google's Night Sight that you have on the Pixel 3.
