How To Downgrade From iOS 8.0.1 To iOS 8

Apple didn’t have the best of days on Wednesday. A week after releasing iOS 8, the company rolled out a software update that promised to fix the early issues. It did, but users soon found that iOS 8.0.1 wound up being more trouble than it was worth.
It’s one thing to break TouchID—we can survive without it for a few days—but cell service is obviously essential to a phone’s existence. The software inexplicably broke both, and Apple responded by saying it was investigating the issue. If you were one of the unlucky ones who updated, there’s a really easy and effective way to downgrade.
