This Remote Parking Assist video shows the remote parking app in action at the Mercedes-Benz SimCity simulated parking lot with the new S-Class. As soon as the car measures and determines the free parking spaces, the driver selects a suitable space and exits the car. Next, the driver activates the remote parking app, and guides the car into the space. The car’s parking assist sensors react to obstacles or objects in its path. To ensure the utmost safety and security, a continuous confirmation action is required in order to use the parking assist system via the user’s smartphone.
