It's all about healthy places to work. Whether it's through great health care, proper food choices, or simply more vacation time, these 5 companies are all about keeping their employees fit and healthy.
Number 5. First up on our list of healthiest places to work, it's Hallmark. Located in Kansas city, the card company is all about keeping it's employees healthy. Along with generous health coverage, Hallmark also gives 6 months paternity or maternity leave. That alone is a pretty big amount of time, but they don't stop there. Nutrition is a huge part of the Kansas city office, and allows works to purchase healthy prepared meals to bring home after work, as part of the companies let's do dinner program. Delicious.
Number 4. Next up, it's software creator SAS, and they seriously know how to reduce the stressful lives of it's employees. What do they offer? How about a free on site healthcare center where employees can receive physical exams, nutritional consults, physical therapy, psychological consults, flu shots and blood work. and it gets better.the break rooms have fresh fruit delivered daily, and it's all free. Not enough? Let's keep it going. You get a free gym membership along with free massages, haircuts, shoe and watch repairs. Oh, and there's also a pharmacy. Not too shabby at all.

What's really cool though is the fit bit race, where the two Illinois offices compete to see which office gets the most steps. Lots of fun.

(Not all of those are really health related) Google has on site physicians and nurses who are always available. The company has also made it easier to eat healthy with it's color coded menu. Green is good, red is unhealthy. Not only that, the internet giant also monitors it's employees eating habits so it can better help with proper nutrition. Now that is going far and beyond.
